My name is Jorge Toledo, from Canary Islands (Spain). I’ve been riding bikes since I was a kid. Now I’m 31. I’ve been 3x Downhill Spanish champion (When I was 15,16 and 17 yrs old). Also I was in the Spanish Downhill team for the worlds of Leogang and the European in Val Di sole in 2003. Then I started my studies of business and did an MBA of Digital Marketing. Later I raced Enduro, 5 years ago, winning a few canarian championships overalls and have been Top Ten overall in the nationals of 2018.
Also a car brand calle Cupra asked me to make a video for them in my RRSS.
I love Kona Bikes, my father gave me a Kona Explosif when I was a kid (my first bike). I’ve been racing with a lot of brands in a lot of teams since then (Scott, Cannondale, Santa Cruz, Specialied, Orbea, Lapierre…).
Now that my father passed away a few years ago and not racing anymore, and I’m back to my roots.
I own a Kona Sutra Ltd 2019 and the plan is travel with it and do some adventures, like the TransGranCanaria Bike I made (the only Gravel Bike in the race) and filming all of that.
But I can show you as an example, another photo Journey (This time with motorbikes) with the kind of video adventures I usually do.
As I told you, I love social media and have a few more to share with you. First of all, a good instagram account. Plenty of good photos (made by me or good photographers who colab), and some IGTV videos I make for the platform. My followers are for all around the world, only a small percentage are spanish (3%)
My plan for 2020
Well, the plan is travel by bike along the 8 Canary islands and make 8 chapters in my youtube channel, with 8 post in my blog based in photos and storytelling. Also 8 chapters for the podcast. I’m in partnership for this project with a Canarian Airline called Binter, which will bring me by plane to each island. Every Island is different. A few like Fuerteventura have a few little mountains, is like a dessert. So that islands will be made by my Gravel Bike. There are a few more like La Palma that are just like big volcanos, so I want to go there with my enduro bike (Now I have an Specialized, maybe better with a Kona?;))
So thats it! I have talked with MIGUEL, from Kona Spain. Maybe you can ask him about my work!!
I appreciate you read all this stuff about my plans. Thank you so Much.
